Hi Reader,
Got a Frozen Embryo Transfer in your future? (if you don't scroll to the end - there something for you!)
After all the prep, the stimms, the needles, the retrievals, the testing the freezing, the waiting - it's finally time for your embryo transfer ✨
And after all the effort, love, and energy you've put in up to this point - you want to make sure that you're giving your embryo the best chance you can.
Yet - once you begin your FET cycle, you're left just floating around in the wind - waiting, hoping, and praying. The doctor's give you the medications and procedures - and you wonder - "is there anything I can do?"
And the answer is YES! You can definitely do a lot to boost your chances of pregnancy as well as move through this time with some ease and a lot less stress.
Here's how you can support your embryo, body, and mind in this part of the journey.
The Frozen Embryo Transfer Program (my bestselling on-demand program!) is specific to this 3-4 week window of your transfer - starting from after your bleed, through the transfer days and including the 2week wait. ***Please note - this is for FETs - NOT FRESH CYCLES that happen right after an egg retrieval!
Here's how you do it:
Phase 1 - prepping for the transfer:
-
focus on enhancing what the medications are doing or your body is doing naturally at this time in your cycle - creating a healthy, luscious, nutrified endometrium for you embryo
- a more active yoga asana practice (more blood flowing) with pressure/release poses like closed twists and belly bolsters is called for at this time. Fresh blood comes rushing in to the uterus when you release the pressure
- a meditation that takes you to visualizing an inviting, receptive and open space for your child
- getting your mind in the game with cultivating hope and trust in a realistic way
Phase 2 - The transfer days:
-
The goal for this time is to chill out for however long your doctor tells you (it varies between doctors and situations)
- Restorative yoga postures at this time are amazing as you keep the nervous system in parasympathetic response - the rest, digest, and reproduce phase - your body is getting a green light for reproduction and taking the signals from the hormones! 🚦
- Meditate and visualize your embryo landing within you as you create welcoming energy
- Here we embrace using our energy wisely and mindfully to match this very short window of the cycle with ease and quietude
Phase 3 - The 2 week wait (but really...9 days until the first beta)
-
The focus here is to allow for gentle movement in and around the pelvis to avoid stagnation - with the aim of bringing good healthy blood flow and energy into and around the uterus
- Yoga asana practice will be safe for this period of time - no twists or pressure on the pelvic area
- gentle movement of the pelvis to maintain the blood and energy flow
- Meditation takes you to visualizing your embryo laying deep roots and settling in for a 9 month stay
- Lessons in finding an anchor to keep you grounded and steady during the 2 week wait
I know that's a lot - and that's why I have this program for you - so you don't have to think about any of it - you just need to show up ❤️
It's on demand and you get life time access.
This may be the piece that you're looking for ✨
